IT'S A BOY!!!!!

So, we had our ultrasound on Monday & our little one is definitely a BOY!!!.....and he's apparently not shy either -- his legs were spread wide open for all to see. Bo actually saw it first & the doctor went back a little & said "Sure enough! It's a boy!" Quite frankly, I don't see how you can tell what anything is on those ultrasounds anyway. I didn't start catching on to what everything was until it was almost over. Oh well. We got some pics printed out, so now I just need to find a scanner so that I can post them. Who knows when I'll actually get around to that, but I'll try.

On Tuesday I actually got to have a little fun being a girl & an expectant mother. Bo went to Denver to pick up some restaurant supplies, so after we closed at 4:00 my friend Amanda & I went to Target to register for this little guy. As you can probably guess, we had absolutely no clue what we were doing, so we just scanned pretty much everything in the baby aisles. I have no idea what a lot of the stuff is or how to use it....or if we'll even need it, but we figured better safe than sorry. :-) So, now I'm counting on all you seasoned mothers to help me out & let me know what I will really need. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of Winnie the Pooh items for the nursery, so Amanda & I ended up with 3 or 4 different themes. Oh well. Anyway, I later spent a couple hours online looking at Babies 'R' Us & was relieved to find entire nurseries set up in Pooh Bear decor (he's my favorite for anyone that doesn't know that by now) along with lots of accessories.

On another note, something kinda funny happened over the weekend -- we had a couple come in for dinner the other night & they said that they were on vacation & had been looking all over for a BBQ restaurant. They finally found our place, but only because they had come across this blog! I guess it makes sense now, but I didn't even think about the fact that this was open to anybody & everybody. The lady said that she had read all about us, the restaurant, my pregnancy, my parents' visit, etc. Kinda funny! :-)
